We have created a resource team comprised of some of the most experienced and successful women within the Miss Wisconsin Organization and beyond. These women are volunteering their time to meet with you individually to help you feel prepared for the competition. They can assist you in the following areas.
Paperwork editing
Talent suggestions
Interview mock sessions
Wardrobe consolation
This is an optional opportunity and you are responsible for setting up a time and day with the resource team. We HIGHLY encourage each contestant to take advantage of this free help as historically past winners have benefitted from the resource team. The Miss Racine directors will not be providing individual help to contestants as organizational duties will take priority
Equally practice all areas of competition daily (just 30 minutes a day helps)
Be open minded about advice from experienced individuals
Start your CSI work NOW, implement your plan before winning the crown
Continue to be involved in the community
Create an organized plan for how you will manage all expectations for competing and outside responsibilities
Complete all deadlines ON TIME, if not completed directors can remove you from the contestant list
Use your resources to prepare including your wardrobe
Practice how to do your own hair and makeup, no one will be able to do it for you at competition
All candidate practices are optional but HIGHLY ENCOURAGED. Starting in September, practices will be every other Sunday in person. A virtual option will be offered occasionally. It is your responsibility to find out what was missed if you can’t attend the practice.
