Miss Racine Contestant Info

imageEligibility Requirements

Contestants must live, work or attend school full time in Racine County for at least six (6) months prior to the Miss Racine Pageant. Full time students of the University of Wisconsin-Parkside also qualify to compete in the Miss Racine Pageant. All contestants must be citizens of the United States before competing in the local competition.

Miss contestants must be at least seventeen (17) years of age at the time of the local competition and no older than twenty-four (24) years of age by December 31st of the year she is chosen to represent her state in the National Competition.

Miss contestants are required to be a high school graduate or successfully complete the GED testing program for high school equivalency or have successfully completed the academic requirements for entry into a college/university degree program by July 30th immediately preceding the National Finals. 

In addition to the residency and age requirements the Miss America Organization asks that all titleholders meet the character criteria as set forth by the Miss America Organization, be in reasonably good health to meet the job requirements and be able to meet the time commitment and job responsibilities as set forth by the Miss Racine Scholarship Organization.
