Miss Racine Scholarship Organization

imageThe Miss Racine Scholarship Organization is a local affiliate of the Miss America Organization. Miss America is the largest provider of scholarship assistance for young women in the world. Last year Miss America made $45 million available in cash and scholarship assistance. The Miss Racine Scholarship Organization is one of the longest continuous running local programs in the Miss Wisconsin Scholarship Pageant program.   With the exception of six years between 1977 and 1982 when no pageants were held, the Miss Racine program has been held each year since 1959. Racine also sent a representative to the 1933 Miss Wisconsin pageant in Cambridge, Wisconsin. Miss Racine 1960, Karen Fahrenbach, won the title of Miss Wisconsin. 

Miss Racine continues to be a significant part of the Racine community appearing at such events as Pancake Day, Casino Night, Taste of Racine and Fourth Fest. For more information on becoming a contestant or a sponsor, please contact us.
